The programs I watch I am interested in the ITEM and not the host.  There are some hosts I like more than others.  But the host does not influence my buying or not buying.

The complaints about hosts, vendors, products,etc.  Is all moot.  If your time watching the shows is critiquing everything then maybe there should be something else you should be doing.

@Imaoldhippie Critiquing everything?  No, I was talking about ONE very overused phrase that this host says.   It was an observation and yes, I know they talk hours on end and yes, I know I should just change the channel and yes, I know I should just find something else to do.   Just love the people complaining about the complainers.

@KKJ  I am with you.   It struck me as a question to have fun with not some negative nelly discussion.     I am a little tired of hearing holier than thou comments on here.   If the poster offends you move on...don't act like you are above it all.   It's a forum after all.  Opinions should be welcome...whether we agree with everyone else or not.

@KKJ  LOL you are watching a shopping channel!!!!!  What do you think you are going to hear?!?  The host's jobs are to SELL SELL SELL so they are going to use anything to get someone to BUY BUY BUY!!!  If you don't like it, I would suggest not watching shopping TV programming and switch to the Food Network or something else.

@KKJ .....I was not referring directly to you or anyone in particular.  A generaliztion.  You are right about people complaining about the complainers.  I like coming to these forums and I just get fed up with the complaints about everything.  I have eliminated reading a lot of posts and forums for that reason.  Soon there will not be anything positive left for me to read.

I hear what you're saying @Imaoldhippie  & love your name btw, however, I sincerely think there will be attacks and negativity no matter what's posted here.  For example, I think a person could post an innocent thread saying "The Sky is Blue"  and get criticized and arguments would ensue.  That's what happens here unfortunately.  

What I don't like is the belittling, and what I find amusing are the posters who respond to a thread with you shouldn't worry about that and "I'm too busy to worry about such trivial things", but yet spend their days on a shopping message board?
