Re: If I Wanted to Watch HSN, I Would...

Of the two, these days I'd much rather see HSN as the "survivor", since their shipping and discount deals are far superior to anything offered by QVC.  QVC's idea of a great deal for the customer is to provide 6 easy pays.  At least it seems that way to me.

I watch QVC, HSN, and Evine. All three channels have brands on there I like and buy from. Perhaps they're crossing each other because they know some shoppers only stick to one channel?

Re: If I Wanted to Watch HSN, I Would...

Well, I used to watch a lot of shopping channels, including QVC and HSN.  These days, I don't sit and watch any of them.  Who has time for that?  before I go to work, I set my DVR for any shows that look interesting.  When I return later, I FF through them until I see something interesting.  If I don't, then it's the delete button.  Works for me.

Re: If I Wanted to Watch HSN, I Would...

If you see items you would like to purchase, does it matter what channel it is on.  With Q the prices may be higher though.  I enjoy shopping different channels.  I love jewelry and Q does not have a big variety and the prices of jewelry on Q seem to be higher.  It is so nice to have choices.  I would not limit my shopping to one channel.  I use to enjoy HSN a few years ago, they had so many vendors.  Now it seems so many are leaving.  Some I cannot find.  As long as I can find a vendor I enjoy I will order from that channel.  It is hard to understand why some people believe Q is the only channel to have items worth purchasing.  You are missing out on the variety of other channels and pricing.  I enjoy seeing what other channels offer.  Wherever you decide to shop enjoySmiley Happy

I think that Chef Ming is now available.  They can bring him to QVC to teach David how to really cook.

A half hour ago.......I bought two Candle Impressions (QVC) items at the Humane Society Thrift.   $1.50 each.  Brand new (not even dusty), except they needed new batteries................     Please don't tell anybody (!!)

We have a Humane Socity Thrift Store where I used to live. A few years ago the upscale part that was called Best in Show had some Affinity Diamond pieces. I bought a cross pendant and a neckalce for very little money. I also found Fostoria crystal there. The Best in Show store closed but they still have Pick of the Litter.

Re: If I Wanted to Watch HSN, I Would...

A couple of points you should have paid attention to...I did not sign up to do this. I have been a Q shopper since the days it was CVN.

And my point was that I DO shop both channels but what's the point of having the same stuff on both? I was looking for variety.

No need to get snippy.

You have to play detective.  I've seen the same products on both channels but they are diofferent prices.  They need to fix this or customers are going to be sending things back and ordering from the other channel.  Customers shop on tv so they don't have to search like crazy customers trying to compare QVC or HSN.  Also QVC quality of products is better than HSN,
