Patricia Nash handbags and Beekman Brothers were former HSN brands...maybe still are. I watch QVC because I think their product line is (was) better. So stop bringing all the HSN stuff. I can change to that channel if I want those products.

In searching through the new arrivals yesterday, I ran across the new Patricia Nash. It's quite different from anything they sold on HSN. Berkman has only been at HSN a few months. At $10., for a bar of soap, they may need a more affluent customer.

I don't think anyone is going to stop Qurate from crossing over brands between QVC and HSN. It's the new normal and, quite frankly, I don't see the issue. They're shopping channels, now owned by the same corporation. Why would it matter which one you purchase from?

The only issue I see is that the beneficial elements of HSN (free shipping, discount coupons) don't seem to be transferring across to QVC. The Beekman products are much higher in price on QVC, so I won't be buying them. Luckily I have quite a stash from HSN.

Brands have been going back and forth between the 2 stations for decades. Nothing new.

Someday, when scientists discover the center of the Universe....some people will be disappointed it is not them.

Don't most people watch both channels? Or is it just me? On my cable they are one channel from each other, how could I not see both channels? So to me it seems pointless they keep trading stuff because what's the difference? Unless a lot of people only watch one or the other, which to me seems weird!

I know that Q-exclusive shoppers tend to be very snobbish and elitist about HSN but this seems like an awful lot of trouble to go through.

I could see your complaint (maybe) if QVC was replacing their products with HSN products, but they aren't. They are adding products to their QVC line-up. So what exactly is the problem?

Do you prefer to watch certain HSN products with their long-time HSN hosts? But as another poster pointed out, Beekman hasn't even been on HSN long, so that cannot be it.
