Don’t watch the show regularly but wanted to say Mary grates on me because of her overkill of political correctness. Guess that comes from her military background. Consequently can only take so much of her.

@Kindaglitzy  I don’t watch her that much but how is she politically correct? I don’t get it. Does she call things different names or something like that?

Back to the subject.....very good program with David, his mother, Stacey and Mary.  Negative Nancys....find something better to do.

I really like David, and it is obvious just how much he LOVES his mother. I've never seen her like this, but loved how inviting her decor was, and found her stories to be "delightful". QVC scored a home run with that presentation. It left me wanting more.

Very nicely said @SandySparkles .  I too enjoyed David's mother very much; the entire ITKWD show seemed so lovely for the season.  I wonder why QVC didn't think of this scenario for David's Down Home With David show on Thursdays? That would have been a natural extension to the down-home theme at the holidays.

@Caaareful Shopper  Smiley HappyI think they used his Sunday afternoon show for this visit with his mom because it has the highest draw for the audience tuning in.

On the Sunday prior to this last one, so December 1st, David mentioned that there were 2,169 new viewers of his show that day.

@aroc3435  Excellent point! I wasn't thinking about the ratings aspect.  Makes more sense than just relying on a show title.
