Chelsea Phillips Reid became a host for QVC in 2023

She's been a host for months, but is seldom seen, by me at least, on QVC1. I agree she's a good host. Wish they would swap her out and have her replace a few others that are regularly on the main channel.

With the lack of new vendors and new products, I'm still wondering why QVC needs THREE channels.
24 hours a day times seven is 168 hours a week of shows.
It's tough to fill all those hours.
Take THREE channels at 168 hours a week, and now there's 504 hours to fill.
504 hours? Really?
Why is QVC doing this?
IMO, that's a real head scratcher.

@Tinkrbl44 - Technically, there are four active channels: QVC, QVC2, QVC3, and In the Kitchen. However, QVC3 and In the Kitchen only air reruns of previous shows, so there's no need to factor in any additional host time, vendor time, product sourcing, or significant financing for those channels. QVC only airs live shows for 20 hours per day and QVC2 only airs live shows for 13 hours per day. That's still a substantial amount of time to fill with hosts and products, but I just thought you might be interested in the details.
(And there are also hours and hours of time they're filling with special shows on their streaming apps and social media platforms, but those are on more of an ad hoc basis.)

I agree with all @loriqvc stated. In addition, if these added stations weren't profitable they would remove them. Evidently they make enough sales to keep the hosts and stations going. With that said, I wouldn't be surprised if some day one or more were eliminated.

@Tinkrbl44. None of QVC's channels broadcast 24 hours a day. Some are solely recorded video.

QVC, QVC2 and QVC3 are not on 24 hours a day @Tinkrbl44
QVC2 begins around 11AM eastern everyday.
QVC3 is re-airings of all their shows in case you missed them.

That is correct. All three are on 24 hrs a day but none of them are "live" for 24hrs. Not even Q1
