It's okay to have a busy life; it's okay not to have a busy life.

I have often said that we are all friends on these boards. There is no need for anyone to go on the attack. Why can’t we just agree to disagree without getting nasty & making things personal?
When we post comments we know that not everyone is going to agree with us.That’s fine.We are adults & should be able to disagree in a civil manner. Some people, however, think they have the right put others down & rip them apart. This is wrong & we should call it out when we see it.
I truly enjoy the friends I’ve made here. With the exception of a few this has been a fun informative place to meet & hang out.

Some people just can't help themselves, it's just their nature/personality.
I find it not worth even responding to, I'm a bigger woman than that.

I agree @Blingqueen023. Many of the interesting and intelligent posters no longer post here -beauty and fashion specifically. The most popular 'conversations' now seem to be about bashing vendors, hosts, celebrities and intolerance.
3 times over the course of several years my thread to discuss Lisa Rinna fashions was derailed by the same nasty selfish posters fueled by their hatred for Lisa and desire to insult QVC shoppers.
It's beyond comprehension that Q would allow this to happen to Q customers wishing to discuss and shop Q merchandise on a Q website.

Retirement is the best thing I ever did!!!! coming here to read about 1/2 hour once or twice a day is enough. After being here awhile you get to know certain posters. Those are the one's I never respond to because they annoy me. There are posters I like and agree with as well. This board is for my entertainment, nothing more.
I'm with you, @reiki604. Retirement was the best thing I ever did too. I am too busy to spend all day on these forums. Sometimes I'm busier now than when I worked 50-60 hours per week! I work 15-16 hours a week in Customer Service at a grocery store. I help take care of my elderly father and disabled sister (we lost Mom Thanksgiving week). I am involved in charity work, church ministries, and have a social life. I get to travel and spend time with grandkids. It's all good.
It sounds like stereotyping to say older people post all day. @Blingqueen023 will learn the truth when her time comes.
@CalminHeart Totally off base. If you were really that busy, I wouldn't see you here posting all day all week long, unless of course you find the time between all your busy day to day activities away from the couch to post. Not trying to be snarky, it's just my observation.
How could you see @CalminHeart "here posting all day, all week long" unless you are here all day, all week long too?
Just curious.....
@KingstonsMom. What a small mind you have. I knew this typical response was coming. I figured you'd be the first one to say it. Not surprised.
Lol @Blingqueen023 - I guess some don't realize we can read the history of posts, and can readily see/recognize the ones that basically live here 24/7.

@Chi-town girl Exactly right. Everything you said here is true. That's why I don't post that much anymore. I only come here to read what 's on sale and find out what the upcoming tsv's are. I find it too dangerous to really post on here because I found out that some posters just flat out lie and they'll post a blaten out lies about you. Example: @CalminHeart accused me of snarky responses. That really gave me the laugh of the day. I'm from from snarky responses as you well know. This is another good reason not to post so often on these boards. Most posters read but they don't comprehend what they reading. That's very dangerous. Outside of that, I have no use for this forum.

Your comments are often snarky and I should take my own advice and not respond.

@CalminHeart How long have you had this problem?

I just recently came to the QVC blog thinking it would be "fun" to see what people were chatting about (both pros and cons) across the country.
However, once I starting reading some of the responses to the post I thought why even reply because so many people seem to be on the attack.
Even responding to this post cause me to hesitate. It seems like we no longer have a right to our opinion.
Sometimes people just need to vent a little and I am ok with that. I don't understand why people cannot leave a difference of opinion without others takeing it as a personal affront.
