Yet when I click on tracking for mine I get info on a delivery that was done last month in Cleveland Ohio! I'm in Arizona. I called CS and they said they got a bunch of recycled numbers and that my order would come. I called again after opening yesterdays package and it was a Denim & Co. white sweatshirt for a woman in Wisconson. Now the Susan Graver top I ordered is sold out. CS thanked me for being so nice but did nothing for me. I wonder what another company would have done? Anyone else have a problem like this?

Why on earth would they recycle numbers. They can add a digit if all below are used up. They have been ",playing" with their system so why not program more digits to plan for future needs. An international company this size should be looking at their computer ordering needs years ahead if they want to compete in the world market.

Last year I ordered a LOGO jacket. I received another person's order, and I assume she reeived mine. My name was on the bag, of course, but her invoice and Isaac Mizrahi 1X cardi--cashmere-was in my bag.
I never got my LOGO, and I sent her IM cardi back. CS just said "sorry". Didn't give me any concessionary amount in spendable cash or anything. They could not have cared less.
The first CS lady told me it wasn't their fault...WTH??????

Sorry if I'm confusing and thank you all for writing. When I look at my SG order it says it was delivered to Ohio last month and it shows it came to me. I just ordered the SG top last week and I live in Arizona.
Yesterday I got a package with my name/address on the bag but inside there was a sweatshirt and the invoice had the WI ladie's info on it. I thought CS would want her info so they could call her and tell her her shirt was sent to the wrong person! No, they are going to wait for her to call and say she never got it! By then it will probably also be sold out like my SG top, so 2 customers got a raw deal! Does anyone at Q care?

QVC does not create the tracking numbers, meaning they cannot just "add a digit."
The tracking numbers are generated by the shipping compnies themselves, and the numbers do get recycled. Usually, there is a long period of time between the numbers being reused (enough so that the tracking software recognizes these as "new numbers"). Sometimes, though, issues occur, and this problem arises.
I have seen this happen with multiple retailers, and it is unfair to blame QVC for something clearly out of their control.

@Jackhound Mom Truthfully, no they don't care. I've had the same experience and they apparently wanted me to return the package at My expense. At least they never mentioned how they'd reimburse me for the postage cost. They were so uncaring that I kept the jacket and put it in my donation bag.

The same thing happened to me last month! I received a package for someone in Culver City, CA. I assume she got mine? Anyhow, I called CS and they got it all straightened out. I was not charged for returning the item and they issued a new order for the item the sent to CA by mistake. Customer service was very polite and professional Mistakes happen and they took care of the problem.

I believe that UPS, USPS gives out "blocks" of numbers from these delivery services to use at QVC's plants where they ship.
The first I heard about this was an eBay buyer wanted to send something back to me. I said sure and she packaged it up and made a shipping label off of eBay. Apparently a TON of packages were shipped with the same number! i know this because the tracking for this package was all over the United States Having arrived at tons of places, going from the east coast to the west coast in TEN MINUTES and being delivered. My post office guys were funny because they said they see this every once in awhile but there was no way to track it and I never got it back.
So aside from an item being delivered to the wrong person, there are incidents where one tracking number has been issued to many people's packages.... creating a horrible mess!
