I wonder if Antonella got her oncotype results back yet. That's where they test your breast tumor to see if it's aggressive or not. If number is below 25, you don't need chemo. But if it's above 25, you do. This is her last hurdle to get over since lymph node biopsy was negative & bone marrow biopsy was negative. The waiting for results is the worst!

According to the information that I have read, she has Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma and Leukemia. Also, surgery on both breasts, radiation, and chemotherapy.

According to the information that I have read, she has Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma and Leukemia. Also, surgery on both breasts, radiation, and chemotherapy.

@mom2four0418   Unless she has put out a new video that I haven't seen, she didn't know if she was having chemotherapy.  As @bobby5  said, she was waiting on her oncotype results.

That's not accurate. From Antonella herself...she had surgery on one breast, will have radiation in 4-6 weeks, and won't need chemo if this test result number (oncotype) is low. And they're putting her leukemia on the back burner for now because bone marrow biopsy was negative. She'll just need bloodwork every 3 months. So if this result is good, she'll be one lucky lady!👍

This thread is an excellent example of one which could use a bit more exposition in the title.   If I knew what it was about,  I would not have opened it.  I wonder about many, many things, but not this.

I kinda just wanted to talk about this from a medical standpoint. I went thru this same thing 4 years ago & waiting for results is the worst. But more importantly, I'm the type of person who gets a diagnosis & immediately I have myself dead & buried. If A gets over this last hurdle, it'll be a lesson to me that things can seem really dire, but if you're patient, they just may work out okay. I should've put this in the wellness forum.
