Wow, that is really frustrating and while I agree with those who'd never order an item like this here, they DO sell them and they DO tout them with regularity. They can try to blame it on UPS all they want to, but they're the entity that sells them, agrees to have them shipped out in pieces with such ridiculously wide-ranging delivery dates (what is THAT about anyway) and should accept responsitiliby for both order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. As for the whole EDD thing. That's long been their policy. They won't begin any kind of search until the EDD has passed. It's annoying, but I assume they have their reasons, however customer unfriendly they might be. Personally, I don't blame CS, when 'corporate' sets policy. As for the moderators offer to help, however limited the offer, it probably really shouldn't even be up to them to have to pursue things like this. Customer Service should be allowed to be... and expected to be... more effective.
