Re: How much time per item in a show?

If it's not selling fast enough off it goes! If the orders are coming in they will stay on longer, sometimes really long if it looks like it will be a sell out.

All good responses here. And it makes sense if it's an expensive item it will get more air time, such as vacuums. Those Dyson & Shark presentations seem quite long to me but then too if it's an item that I have no interest in.

Re: How much time per item in a show?

HSN has/had a segment called 5 in 5.  It was fast moving, a quick description, but actually enough time to get a pretty good idea what they were selling and if you were interested in the product or not.

Oh, and guess, what?  No time for family stories, butt jiggling, or laughing and screaming.

It was refreshing and I would love to see an hour like this.  This is where two hosts would be good - separately, of course.

So tired of hearing that they have thousands of items that are never shown.......well, come on, show them!   The same items being on over and over is getting old.

Fear not Brothers and Sisters! I have read THE BOOK..........we win!!!

I was thinking about that myself!  Too long per item. Ridiculous to be on for an hour and only present 4 items.  Moves too slowly for me.
