I know on UPS sometimes they will show on a local map where the truck is and where my house is.

I just have trouble with Amazon, but, then, I'm not a Plus

Re: How do you track Amazon

[ Edited ]

@SharkE - To track packages being delivered by Amazon:

• Go to your orders and click the "Track package" button.

• On the page that appears, look for "See all updates" at the bottom left.

  > It isn't extremely clear that this is a link, but it is. When you click it,
the package's progress details will be displayed.

Note that like other couriers' tracking, it may take about 24 hours before details are available for your shipment. And Amazon's tracking is a bit unusual; sometimes you will see tracking updates posted across multiple states in a single day, and sometimes you won't see detailed updates until the night before the delivery date, especially if the shipment originated near your delivery address.

You will get a notification of the estimated delivery timeframe when the package is officially out for delivery (and this will also be displayed in your order details on the Amazon website). You may also get an alert about the package being 10 or fewer stops away as it nears your delivery address, but this does not always happen. If you ordered an overnight or time-specific delivery, you may even get a notification about which driver is bringing your package, complete with a little photo. That's always interesting.  Smiley Happy

On the delivery day I wait until they send the time it will be delivered, say between 3pm to 4pm. A map then pops up and tells me how many stops before it gets to me. It reminds me of tracking an Uber or Lyft.

I love that feature.  You can see how they avoid left turns!

@songbird  I love the map at holiday time when the vehicle becomes a sleigh. 😂

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it.
For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.
