He has been doing a great job of carrying on without Joan. I never cared for him when he was with Joan (seemed so unnecessary) but he is very good on his own.

Good to know this. I've been uninterested in watching JR shows since her loss, since, for me, she WAS the brand. I too felt as you did about his presence with her when she was on-air and didn't particularly enjoy his solo shows when Joan was still alive. Still, perhaps I'll give it another go and see what I think.

I think he is doing a great job! He does really describe the products so well! I loved when he stated that he does not like the style when women wear all those layers!! I agree with him...I just want basic, uncomplicated, streamlined clothing!!

I think he's very good. Informative, pleasant, and easy to listen to. Who knew? Funny how he was always in the background when Joan was alive.
