Re: How Much Longer?

@CaliGold67

The Q Forums are a "separate entity" handled by an IT company in Poland.

They are sleeping while WE are posting.    That's why it takes so long to fix the glitches.

This campaign is interesting to me.  Anything is indeed possible.   This is my favorite Shel Silverstein poem from when I was a kid.

Listen to Mustn'ts

Listen to Mustn'ts, child, listen to the Don'ts.
Listen to the Shouldn'ts, the Impossibles, the Won'ts.
Listen to the Never Haves, then listen close to me.
      Anything can happen, child, Anything can be.

I'm a senior. Q hosts don't/can't provide any information about aging possibilities. They have years to go before I'd consider anything they say.  It's just a marketing ploy to sucker in women.

QVC is a shopping channel. Nothing else. The marketing campaign for the age of possibility is hilarious and adds zero revenue to their bottom line.  But.......it gives their on-air talent something to discuss instead of talking about products.

OH NO - don't tell anyone else that the Q is nothing more than a shopping channel!  It's so much MORE.  I'm not sure what but Q has taken on the mantle of 'sharing & caring for women'.  Allegedly.  Thus the menopause factor.  Menopause is not a real thing anyway, doctors invented it - changes manifest differently for every woman.  I never noticed it. Now it's the "50+  and 60, 70, 80 & BEYOND!"  I hope when I'm in my 80's I don't feel a need to buy 2 years' worth of face cream.  Years ago a friend of mine visited a very Senior citizen at her home - she had an entire room full of unopened packages from QVC & HSN.  Imagine her family having to take care of that inheritance. Now I imagine all the Senior ladies tucked away in Assisted Living with not much to do.  Maybe I'll do the same? I DO love to shop.

@TheMemphisVette.  You must keep the TV on mute.  There are constant references to it as well as dedicated programming.

part of selling spiel which i get deaf to when i hear it multiple times.  i'm old and used to this and learned to tune it out.  of course part of this is that nothing small gets me nuts.  and this is really small stuff.

I am an original LIBBER...and was hoping this female-trashing was over with.    Guess NOT.    And men seem to get a kick out of mentioning you are "that age"...

@Desertdi   Im 72 but remember at age 40 dealing with some health things and 3 different male doctor/health care workers started out the conversation with well "mature aged women" and then proceeded to talk down to me.  I would not have listened to that today.

Two years of this😳😳😳😳😳😳😳. Must be their target audience.  What I hate is them telling me where to wear something.  Walk the dog, walk to the bus stop, buy coffee, grab lunch etc etc etc
