I can never figure out why some folks get upset over a positive marketing campagn.

Im 59. I dont watch shopping channels 24 hours a day. I do tune in if its a show im interested in. I also bounce in during commercial breaks8. None of this upsets me.

This 💯!  I guess I can understand if it was still the early days or even before cable, but with so much to watch or listen to now, it's very surprising how many people come here to complain about the same thing.  It's obviously attracting new viewers or they would have stopped it a long time ago.

And replying to my own comment.  I can't understand why QVC even keeps these boards going.  So many people here no longer watch or shop here that it boggles my mind the community is still here.  I wonder what will happen with the strategy of leaning heavily into social media.  I see all the moderators from here on FB every day.

No longer watch or shop yet they seem to be the majority of the people that have negative comments.

I have found some useful household items this year - the Q does this category well.  Also a couple of beauty items. There is a huge inventory and the sales pitch feels frenetic and desperate.  It's that time of year. The Q tv shopping used to be Fun.

I mean it's, REDUNDENT.  QVC acts like they've liberated women or something.  It's just strange how they are recycling a long-ago issue.

Sagging Sales and Impending Irrelevance. They're trying SO hard to meet quotas but the menopause mandate is dumb.

When they started this, I initially scratched my head thinking, Really???  But then I realized it's just a marketing focus to bring in new brands and hopefully customers.  If they think it's helping their business, carry on.  It has generated thousands of new followers on their social media pages, so it seems to be working in that regard.  I want QVC to succeed, so hopefully they get this right.

However, I did, and still do, loathe the Menopause Monday "gotcha" title of that weekly show.  It's just another sales show; that emotional manipulation of the title is extremely distasteful to me. Keep the show, change that one title.

If I don't like it, I won't watch. Some of the shows are entertaining though.
