I am not a fan of JT and never watch the shows she is on---however---I do have a problem with shoes---yes, I am an addict!!!  I have a bloody TON of shoes--and I need serious help  But due to my feet changing from the effects of chemo--the numbness and such--I don't wear them, as they feel like I am walking on pebbles---so I will donate them--I WISH I knew someone close by in my size that wanted them. They are all very good brands; lightly, if at all, worn. I have promised myself to stop accumulating them--no, really I have

@Teddixat She does have a couple of daughters.  Maybe they share shoes.

OR, maybe it IS part of the sales pitch.

Remember, she is a salesman.  She gets paid to sell as much of what she's on the air for as she can.

Yes.  I think many in this forum forget the point you are making.  The OP was simply pointing out how silly these sales people can get.  It's all in fun.  I personally don't care how many shoes she owns, or what any of these sales people own.  Most of them say they own most of what they are selling.  That has nothing to do with what I will purchase.

Im one of those weird people that have spring/summer shoes and fall/winter shoes and then boots and tennis/athletic shoes. I have them stored in bins from sandals to heels then to shooties/booties with heels. I must own close to 200 pairs and still have a pair I bought at Walmart in 1995 that are still in style today, in fact I just wore them 2 weeks ago. My main shoes right now are in the boxes that were in a TSV a few weeks ago. I put my favorites in there and pull out what I think I might ware for the month. 

I know it sounds crazy but every season its like shopping in my closet or garage. I cant remember what I have in there.

Shoes make the out fit. They can take an out fit to a whole new look.

She probably gets them at no charge. I know they take home appliances for demo at home and get to keep them at no charge.

Why? It's been a running joke for my entire life that women love shoes. And that joke is decades older than I am, because I've seen it in movies from the late 40s. The average American woman owns 23 pairs of shoes. (Source: http://jewel925.com/the-average-woman-owns-24-pairs-of-shoes/) I own 12, so someone is making up for my other 11. And maybe it's Jane, because she appears to really love shoes.

The one with the largest says she has over 200. (Or maybe her collection is dwarfed by the woman who says her collection is simply "too large to count.") Imelda Marcos owned over a thousand pairs of shoes.

You can't imagine owning as many shoes as Jane claims to own - that's not the same thing as something not being true
