Shawn pulled the same tactic last night on PMS. Was ordering Logo tanks. She has gotten extremely tacky.I noticed when she says the wrong thing, she then backs up and tries to correct herself. It happened last night during the TSV presentation.

When the host does this (start ordering for themself) it means she is thinking of herself at that moment and not the customer.  I saw it last night too.  She was totally spending her presentation time deciding which color she wanted for herself and was not even speaking to the people watching.  She was conversing with Lori about which one SHE should get.  Tacky.

Shawn does the same with Isaac.  Also gets "off the subject" of the item they are selling and talks too much about other things without giving details of the item that is being sold.  I finally ventured into trying Isaac's line and the two jackets (different styles) were returns since the sleeves were way too long and I didn't "love" them enough to have them altered.  Won't try again as returns are too costly.

Re: Hosts ordering during presentation

It drives me nuts when they do that because its so obvious why its being done. But its not as bad as when a former host did it. They should stop doing this. They know before hand whats being presented so why not order then instead of doing it live on TV.

But they should all at least try and keep their stories straight.

Hosts have said that they are not allowed to order new items in their own show until after they have been aired.  But then I have heard other hosts claiming they ordered a new item before they went on the air.

I fully believe some of them do order before their shows and some order while other hosts are on or order on-line.  But I don't believe all these hosts are ordering while they are on air presenting.

I'm surprised Jill has started to fall into the habit of doing this.  I've heard her make the claim a few times now.

We never see Jill in QVC clothing.

I've seen Jill in QVC clothing and jewelry but not often.  A few weeks ago she had on a really cute leather jacket during one of her shows.  A few days later I was watching Belle by Kim Gravel and saw that it was a faux leather jacket from that line.

Re: Hosts ordering during presentation

Shawn on Accessories with Breezies just placed her orders. After asking the Breezies vendor if she should get a 34C or a 34D, Shawn was puzzled. She decided on getting both a 34C and a 34D and told whatshisname to order both for her. Then, she asked the vendor if that was alright to ask "him" to order bras for her.

Gosh, I hope Shawn lets us know when she gets them if the 34C or the 34D was her fit.  Smiley Sad

LOL, Shawn (like other hosts) have claimed to be Breezies fans, so wouldn't she already know what size she needs?

All this "pretending" to order the items on air is so tacky and  phony.  They are supposed to be salespeople there to sell to us.  If I were in Macy's or somewhere and had a salesperson helping me with something, I wouldn't expect them to then act as if I wasn't there and start buying items for themselves!  Do your shopping on your time lol.

It doesn't even have to be Breezies, @MarthaStewardess. She finds it necessary to let her audience know she has a large bust no matter what she's selling. A large bust and XXS tops and jackets.

Re: Hosts ordering during presentation

Sorry to dredge this up again but it happened again last night with Kerstin on the Peace Love World segment.  As soon as the show opened and several times during the show, Kerstin said "I ordered before the show started so I could get all the things I wanted before they sold out". She probably did because this is her style of clothing, but to keep stating that she put herself first was what got me.  To me this is really rude and unprofessional.  What is she thinking telling customers I got mine-good luck getting yours!!  I turned the show off, prices are ridiculously high for that line anyway.

Once again, what she said was a "SALES TACTIC".

She said it because she wants people to think, "Oooh! If she got it, then it MUST be good!"
