Why do hosts or models insist on wearing jackets, sweaters, blazers etc too small so they can’t even meet to show how the item looks closed? Is it a new fad?

Been going on for as long as I can remember.    Some folks (both male and female) like to look "squeezed in"............

You must be a couple generations away from "hot pants".

If you're thinking 50 years of "new fad" that would be just about spot on.

Because the Q stylists dress them that way.  Why its allowed is beyond me.

They want to see how much they can stretch all that spandex QVC puts into everything.

@Foxxee @where do you shop that 3/4 of everything doesn’t have spandex in it?   I know LLB does a lot of 100% cotton but lots of their styles are not me.

@wild_cherokee_rose I think some hosts wear clothing that's too small so they can say, "I'm wearing an XS or XXS."  Makes me wonder what size they really are.

It's a look.  One of our male local newscasters had a suit on the other day that looked three sizes too small.  I think he thought he looked cool.  LOL.

I don't think tight clothes are a fad

This is a longtime issue that's been up for discussion for a while. It's not flattering and sometimes I find myself gasping out loud or talking to the T.V., i,e.  You need a bigger size! Doesn't look like the "tight" trend with the QVC hosts and models is going anywhere sadly
