Some of the hosts and models DON'T need alcohol to "act" goofy.

I have no problem with alcohol , however I don't think it is cute or relatable to see the hosts drink. It's a business and I don't think it's appropriate . JMO

@Imaoldhippie , We'll you could have scrolled on by, but I guess it's more fun to clutch your pearls in faux outrage.

Re: Hosts Drinking Alcohol

[ Edited ]

THAT would NEVER get past the Legal Department.     The hosts are putting on an act.

I can't believe there are people out there who get worked up over the hosts drinking or carrying around a glass of wine.  If you have an alcohol problem that's on you not QVC.

I don't think it is real alcohol either....I think it is juice probably, just giving us the illusion of alcohol...

For a variety of reasons, my QVC viewing is pretty limited. This is NOT one of them.

@Barks2005  - It seems this topic is just going to keep coming up over and over.

There are so many threads where it's been discussed, which can easily be found by doing a search.

But personally, the sight of a host holding a glass of pretend wine (or other alcoholic beverage) doesn't affect my viewing at all.  We live in an adult world and I've seen worse in real life.

If it triggers someone, that's an issue for the individual to deal with; not QVC or any other on-air retailer.
