I'm sorry for deviating off topic by discussing the Denim and Co show. I scanned the responses and saw it mentioned. I probably should have started a new thread.

I saw the video, he was right to correct but just caught her off guard. Wasn't a big deal really, kind of funny lol

Hmmm, I didn't find her "miffed" or "testy" whatsoever. She seemed herself and thought it was quite funny. I didn't find him uncomfortable either.
I don't know that I would ever be able to determine how a host or guest felt by just presenting on TV. Unless they specifically say, we really don't know.
I must say, being from the West Coast I wouldn't even know that some people would be offended by using NY instead of NYC.
Again, I rewatched and saw nobody that appeared upset in any way.

From my viewing, it was the use of the word "Style" that got to the guest, meaning his product was the legitimate item, not something "styled" to appear so. He uses water from the Catskill Reservoirs, so I don't think "New York" was the irritation.
That's my take on what is basically an inconsequential, but amusing and entertaining issue.

Jayne is on my short list of favorite hosts. I have noticed frequently when she starts her first show of the day, she makes mistakes describing the product or even sells the wrong product. It's like it takes her brain a few minutes to get into "work" mode.

Jayne is one of my favorite hosts, she has a wicked sense of humor.

I've bought his NYC bagels and they taste delicious .
I do not eat any other brand as where I live in Maryland as far as I'm concerned they bagels do not taste they same .
Yes, it was a big deal to call the bagels " NYC Style versus the authentic NYC bagel ". That's a big sales pitch for this company to those who haven't tried them .
Have heard a couple of Hosts misspeak on more than one occassion and the Reps correct them when and If they are allowed time to talk . This is why the Hosts are really not a big benefit since the Reps have the verbage memorized on how to pitch the company they represent . The Hosts can't even get the colors straight most of the time.

Jayne is definitely one of my favorite hosts as well. I always try to watch her shows. Like all of the hosts, she can get things twisted from time to time. She catches herself, and it's not any slight on her overall hosting abilities.

Jayne doesn't like to be corrected by anyone.
Even Gary is very careful in correcting her as gently as possible, and she does not like it.
And yes, Jayne does make mistakes sometimes.
I don't care for her at all on food shows, handles food too much and eats too much.
