Reread some of the posts @Imaoldhippie It's not about being offended, but rather having a painful experience emerge, because of someone's careless words.

I agree, we are adults. Being offended by something so stupid. *shakes head*

@MG Chris We are all adults, but inside we still have that inner child that went through a lot of pain. That child never goes away, and can be triggered by careless words, or attitudes. Be kind, because I am sure you have triggers of your own.

Re: Host, PLEASE STOP with the "cool girls" references

I've never heard the "cool girls" reference.  I've usually heard references to "ladies who lunch," "Madison Ave.," " Put a 2 in front of the price," and "High End". It's always a connection to status and wealth and we're getting a bargain shopping at QVC/HSN.

@Foxxee That is not entirely true in every case. If you read @CalminHeart 's reply it has a very negative connotation for her. That is very powerful, and even though I was never bullied "cool girls" brings that image to mind for me.

The hosts have to be very careful how they decide to use words to pitch sales. I think "cool girls" is very immature. They should be able to come up with something more appropriate then that.

It makes me wonder about the host, and what their early experience was in school. Were they the "mean girl", or the wall flower that's saying look at me now.

@manny2

I still stand by what I said.  Some here get it.  Others didn't.

It's my wish that everyone gets it.  It's a much more pleasant way to live.

As if Gilman,Rancic and the rest are the judges of who are the cool girls.  Hardly. They're saleswomen, can blather on all they want and I know buying their stuff won't make me cool or uncool just a little poorer.😎

You can't be serious. Taking something a bit too seriously. Please.

Stop, please. Much ado about nothing. Those addicted to QVC make a mountain out of a mole hill over every little thing a host says or does.

Re: Host, PLEASE STOP with the "cool girls" references

Who can forget the references to "use this or wear this" because it's "Oprah's" favorite.  I think some hosts are obsessed with mentioning celebs who wouldn't live without certain products.  Not sure why this has become a sales pitch.
