HATE hoodies....HATE hoods of any kind.

I like them on heavier sweatshirts for very casual wear.  Great when it’s cold and windy.  I always buy one from places we’ve been as a reminder of happy times.  Part of my outdoor vibe, I guess.  Great for wearing on the beach in cooler weather.

I own and wear several hoodies in different fabrics and colors.  I like a sweatshirt that zips up the front and it's hard to find one without a hoodie.  I do pull the hoods over my head when I'm outside in winter.  My cardigan sweaters have been replaced by hoodies.

I like it as an option but I am tired of them slapping it on every item.

I used to live in So. CA and owned not one hood.  Moved to a very cold, windy state and now will not buy outer wear without a hood.  

 

Not a fashion statement where I live, LOL~!
