I know there are other threads on this, but as some have suggested, why not flood the board with threads about this outrageous practice. I called customer service and the nice lady wasn't even aware until she looked for herself. She said she was e-mailing "corporate" on my behalf. I also e-mailed customer service - just to see what the response will be.
I simply do not purchase from companies who "hide" their shipping charges. If a company cannot be upfront about them, then it's not a company I care to deal with. Too many other options out there.
Sad.
