@SportyShorty07 - OMG, I had 80’s hair (thanks Aquanet) well into the 90’s and then some! It was hard to give up and only did so after years of my daughter telling me it was time. Lol!!

I never heard of gaining height??  Is that truly possible??   I was 5'5" my entire adult life up until my illness and when I finished treaments I measured an inch shorter.  I never did any research on it, it is what it is but I'm surely not happy about it.

@Natureluvr  you're my kind of gal pal with a love for the 80's ! I've had the same Farrah Fawcett feathered long haircut since I was 17 in 2005 ! I laughed at how you said your daughter told you "it was time" - I bet you rocked your pretty 80's here in the 80's and past the 80's ! There's something about 80's hair- the size and texture of it and the styles- its unlike any other decade!

I've always heard that as one ages, he or she loses a bit in height, but I never really believed it...

Until, I went from being 5"9' to being measured at 5"8' the last time I went to the doctor.

People shrink… just Google it. I was surprised to read that women can lose 2 inches in height by age 70. Men 1.5 inches.
And it starts at ages 30-40. I’m hoping the information they posted is wrong! I don’t want to shrink. 😳

Miata1, I don't know what is going on with Mary Beth and Mary and their different heights, but I will bet my bottom dollar that Amy Stran is still going to tell us that she is five two and a half.

I was very dismayed, when I found out I was losing height. I was 5'1" to begin with. I've lost a little over 2", now in my 70s.

@Enufstuff  You look lovely at your height! Everyone gets shorter with time, its alright   At 4'11". I'm the shortest in my family and I used to want to be taller, but I really think I'm meant to be short .  Tall girls, short girls, average height girls- we're all meant to be whatever height we are .

Katya is an XXS amd she's nearly 6 feet in height.  Most of the models are very tall. Just a little under 6 feet. Including all the obese ones.
