Maybe the hosts are measured in height with and without shoes. There is no further explanation for growing unless it is width!!!😁

One can only assume that they have acquired the ability to defy the effects of gravity.  Must be from all that stretching of the truth.

I think you're on to something.  

When I had surgery this past May, I was surprised they wanted to measure my height...I'd never had that happen.  Anyways, I could've left my slippers on, but I took them off.

Apparently, they allow an inch for regular shoes.

I have been 5' 1" ...61 inches tall since I was a teenager.  At my last doctor's visit, I measured 5'2" or 62 iniches tall.

I grew an inch in height?  I thought maybe my new knee replacement was to blame.  I don't know.

Maybe some people get taller as they age.

@Desertdi   My 4'11" daughter has only dated average and tall guys.  Her husband is 6'5".

I have always been attracted to very tall men too.  My teenage boyfriend was 6'8" tall.  My husband is only 5'8" but he is handsome and a good guy, so I'll keep him.
