To me they're all the same. Obviously needing to work and they sell products on TV.

I don't find anything special, some are more flamboyant but in general to me, sales people

needing to make quotas and sell sell sell.

A few years ago there was an episode of 60 minutes where they went behind the scenes and showed a presentation from inside the control booth and what the producers were saying in the hosts ear based on the real time analytics of sales being made on the phone and website. If there was a spike in numbers due to the host saying or doing something in particular then the producer told them that and to do it again. It was an interesting story.

It would be easy for me to disagree with you, as we both haven't really seen eye to eye over the past month or so. However, I espectfully disagree with you here. Mary Beth Roe has only in the 20,000's of followers on IG. She is the legend and best at QVC. Also, some of them BUY followers. YES, you can do that and you can see much BOT activity. Ive seen it on many of their IG with these "Lottery" or Forex" posts, which means they used a service to BUY likes or followers.

As an "over fifty" viewer I find it sad that Q cleans house by forcing out long-time devoted hosts because they age. I think that is why I continue to watch Over F and F. The idea that younger is better is absurd. Plus, it's not easy to compare here as not all sell the same products. Some of the most popular brands sell themselves while some products can hardly be given away.
I prefer the olden days when someone who dedicated his/her life to a company was appreciated and given a gold watch upon retirement. Today it's all about bottom lines v. Loyal employees. Sadly, we get what they pay for.

To me, honor is worth the effort despite the reward it is given today.

It means they were already confident and don't mind debasing themselves for so-called entertainment or acting out on air. Some people like it. Some don't.

I can't imagine following hosts. They are not my friends or acquaintances. They are salespeople who happen to be on tv, nothing more. They have nothing to share that's worth my time or is of interest to me.

BTW, I like your name. I have a rescue who was horribly abused by the prior owner. It's so sad what it does to an animal.
