The language used is ambiguous. They also imply a claim, without making a claim. “Reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles” It’s all about the language.

The clean beauty tag line is another marketing strategy. The FDA does not have criteria for clean beauty. In fact, all cosmetics are made with what are considered safe levels of ingredients.

So, if they remove parabens they claim clean beauty. All smoke and mirrors.

@manny2 Correct. that word "appearance" is the main word in that sentence, and I don't think that word means it keeps them from appearing, but that it reduces how bad they look but plumping them with moisture.  They use models who can't use any other product and they're probably also people who weren't using anything prior to the test.

I'm not expecting a product to turn back the clock, but I do hope that good skincare will slow it down.  However, I did have some fine undereye wrinkles actually disappear after using an eye cream for awhile.  So, that was a nice perk.

Re: Have to change the channel

I’ve stopped listening to all the claims. Find a moisturizer or cream you like and stick with it, for me it’s the Whish Super Cream. I use it from head to toe. It is especially good for creepy skin on the arms and legs because it is in my experience the most emollient cream sold here. I don’t expect anything to erase my lines - just reduce their appearance.

I now buy Pond's moisturizing cream. It is only $14 for an 8.5 ounce jar. I use it for my whole face and neck. I do not buy neck or eye cream. I am tired of so called experts telling me that I need three different moisturizing creams. The Pond's cream is just as good as other high end creams that I have used in the past.

The only things that will change a face are surgery and aging. There isn't a product around that will truly help with anything.

@CalminHeart   There are only two dermatologist recommended help for wrinkles: sunscreen and Retin A.

Re: Have to change the channel

@lgfan ................I use Pond products and have for years.  Its inexpensive and my skin is good for my age.  I have suggested many times in the beauty forum using Ponds but my suggestion gets ignored because it is not expensive and does not make any silly promises.  Lots of people want the mircale in a jar.

Most  all the claims for wonderous results are just hype----I don't buy into the hype anymore. It's all about the money!!
