@Kachina624

Unimaginative repetitious offerings.......hawked by loud, obnoxious, boorish "hosts"..for hours on end focusing on one examples of the same ole same old dreck....

Speils that we long timers know by heart just by looking at the program guide....("Red will sell out first!!!!....This....Is....Extraordinary!!!....You'll look like money!!!) yeah right.

The closeups of old lady jowls and dried out  lips and baggy eyes.....blechhh!!!

Can't see any real difference, and if you have to study some old woman's face for more than three seconds to see if they plumped something up or lifted it or otherwise momentarily "improved" their appearance...

Forget it.I can look in my mirror for free to see that.

I can't get to the remote fast enough when the close ups of jowls appear on air...

Same for too tight clothes on models, pants that sweep the floor, cheap synthetic materials with old lady prints...cheap methods of construction ( no buttons)...droop fests and the endless BOW RING personal stories that we can recite by heart better than our own family's lineage and adventures.

It's just gotten ridiculous.!!!

This magical thing today to roll over your face.....will soon go the way of that mouth exerciser thing...remember that?!?!?!?

Can't wait to see the next quarterly report due May 8th. Maybe I'm wrong, but Q's offerings really ...well, you know.

Thoughts expressed here seem to be falling on deaf ears.

TSV presentations which we've complained about for years, have become even more frequent and longer than ever before.  They've become one-day infomercials where they take over the network.  As this happens I find myself watching less and less.  My orders have decreased markedly....I guess every cloud has a silver lining.

QVC has become one huge bore.

@Kachina624

Haven't watched a full presentation of a TSV for a long time.  Historically I'd set the DVR at 10pm mtn for subjects I like but have found many times I can barely get through a few minutes.

It's a shame isn't it?

My opinion of material things has been changing.  I recently read something that struck me.  In the article it said after your home, is your most valuable asset i.e. car sitting outside and the garage is full of not very valuable things?

Had me thinking in addition to the garage scenario, do I really need all these LocknLocks / clothes / decor items and would I rather have valuable real estate back, at the very least a more streamlined environment.

Found with our recent 30 hour power outage that it's much better to have clear spaces.  The QVC lanterns / Luminaras etc did come in handy though lol.

I used to see what the TS was daily years ago. Now I never know what it is unless I see a post about it.

I will keep saving our money instead of spending it on stuff we don't need. Today most things are not worth the price tag.

QVC seems to be selling more gimmicks than ever....with ever higher pricetags.

Or maybe it's cause I'm older and not so gullible any longer....!

Re: Have You Noticed?

Actually, I haven't noticed  because I never have the Q on! I've become addicted to the Food Channel.  I'm dedicating myself to becoming a better cook.  Most of my purchases these days are from InstaCart.  LOL

Kachina , you have near 70,000 post . You probably have made many purchases . Yes things on QVC have become redundant . I no longer purchase as much as I once did . My life has changed and I have learnt to make things better. . Live has changed and so must we . I do watch QVC for entertainment , not 24 - 7 . There is so much to see and do in our world .

Kachina I do enjoy your opinions and advice .

Those hour long presentations on one single item are a major bore. I feel for the host that has to talk about the same product for a full hour, excruciatingly painful.
At least I have an outlet, I just change the channel.

I couldn't agree more.  B-O-R-I-N-G. I used to watch all the time but now it's very rare and if I do it's not for long.

@Othereeeen   You are too funny!!  Thanks for the laughs.

I think one of the problems is that many of us have been watching for decades and have noticed the decline in quality, value and convenience.  It remains to be seen if they can attract new viewers.
