It's Saturday the 14th. 11 more days until Christmas. Undoubtedly, on the 24th and on, there will be threads from people complaining that their gift did not arrive before the 25th, and that by not having that gift, it ruined the whole day.
Well, the solution is simple. Make sure that you have your order in early, as in no later than a few days ago, because QVC canNOT control the weather, and blizzards can, and do delay flights, which in turn, delays the package arriving.
Besides, no gift can "ruin" a whole day, if it isn't there. People keep saying, "The reason for the season", but they seem to think that the "reason", is a material object. Let's not loose perspective, okay?
So what if the gift doesn't get there on time. Isn't the fact that you are together what is REALLY important, and not some gift?
Count you blessings.
Some people have no one.
Some lost family members this year.
Is it disappointing when the item doesn't arrive before Christmas?
Yes.
But, it's not the end of the world either.
So, be thankful for what you DO have, and focus on that, instead.
