Re: Happy 34th Founder's Day!

Shown, from left, are: Mary Beth Roe, Ellen Langas, Molly Daly, Kathy Levine, Joseph Segel, Dan Wheeler, John Eastman, Paul Kelly and Jane Rudolph Treacy.

This is a celebration of QVC's 30th anniversary in 2016, a social gathering, not a work function. Roe has worked at QVC since 1990. Langas left as program host in the early 90s and pursued other ventures, including voice work (QVC's Automated Ordering System) and being a representative for Tri-Oral. Daly left around 1993. Levine left in 2000 and has returned on various occasions. Segel retired as chairman in 1993 and continued as President Emeritus. Wheeler retired in 2017. Eastman was QVC's Vice President of Talent from 1986 to 1993. Kelly left around 1993 as program host and came back to work on QVC Remote Broadcasts through 2000. Treacy left in 2004 and returned in 2005.

Clockwise from top, David Venable, Jane Rudolph Treacy, Suze Orman, Lisa Robertson, Paul Kelly, Kathy Levine, Bob Bowersox, Pat James DeMentri. There is another thread speculating that Robertson and Kelly dated in 1995 when the former was new to QVC and the latter worked with the live broadcasts of QVC's 50-in-50 Tour.

I have to laugh that some people mistook Suze Orman for Rick !  Paul Kelly I remember but not sure if he is still alive. He mysteriously disappeared much like Bob Bowersox.  Mary Beth looks so young.  Boy do I wish we could turn back the clock and live in the 90s again before computers phones and robots took over the world.

I studied the pictures closely, and I see a group of colleagues, that appear to be having a good time while posing for a photo-op. Nothing seems untoward. Jane does not look uncomfortable; she looks happy.

I actually like the photo. It's nice to see that group of hosts together. I'd actually forgotten several of them.😊

inappropriate touching?  Her shoulders? Ummmmm No I am not bothered, I think you are reading too much into this and neither woman looked bothered at all.

It looks like a fun picture with a group of friends.  Nice to see people who work together look happy in a picture.

No they mistook Paul Kelley for Rick Domeier. People said the same thing about the first photograph when Jane posted it on Facebook in 2016, that they thought Rick Domeier was in the photograph but it is Paul Kelley, who is still alive! He appeared as a guest on Sunday Funday with Paul and Judy on Facebook Live on January 27, 2019.

Well, instead of Happy Founders Day, they could say Happy Joseph Segel Day.  Smiley Sad
