Happy 34th Founder's Day!

[ Edited ]

On June 13, 1986, QVC was founded by Joseph M. Segel. He retired from QVC in 1993 yet we still celebrate every June 13th as Founder's Day.

In my opinion QVC should have given all Q Card holders 34 percent off on this day.  I am growing tired of never getting any Q Card benefit except EZ Pay which is just a ploy to get people who really cant afford to be shopping to make minimum payments.  QVC needs to step up its game in order to stay competitive in my opinion.

Reever, I agree!!!   Nothing seems to be special for loyal, long time shoppers.  Founder's Day used to be a big deal!  Special pricing, true sale prices AND free shipping on everything.  Yes, things change, but in this instance not for the better in my opinion.

Joseph Segel would be proud of QVC if he was still alive; he died last December at 88.  Actually, he was probably proud of QVC even prior to his death.

I guess at this point it's unreasonable to expect free shipping for this special day. I can't believe they aren't offering 6 easy pays on everything!

@Reever    I think they should give NON-cardholders 34% off as a reward for being smart enough to not get involved with their card.

It's good to remember the signigicant people in a business.  However, from a customer's point of view, this whole "Happy Birthday" month has been a bore.  Same old, same old.  Easy pays and oh, you just MUST sign up for a Q CARD!

I am forever grateful for Mr. Segel. He was a true visionary, and because of his single idea, I have enjoyed the convenience of home shopping, from MULTIPLE home shopping channels. It is with much honor, that I do so.😊

The privilege of being able to visit the forums, share passions, and interact with so many interesting personalities, is just icing on the cake.😁❤

The Quality and Quantity are amazing.  Nicely packaged, great selection, really good.

Appreciate it.

Is anyone else troubled by the innapropritate toutching that man is doing to Jane Tracey and another colleague who has her hands on Mary Beths shoulder ?   Certainly  a dated photo but it would never fly in the age of the MeToo Movement.  In my opinion touching should never be done in a business setting.  It may be one good benefit that comes from the Virus.
