Since they are owned by the same people, I hope I can ask this here.  My problem with HSN clearance prices is you have to go through the entire ordering process, then they pop up the SOLD OUT notice.  Drives me nuts, so items that would normally tempt me don't anymore.  Is this still their practice?

It usually has a sold out notice on the product page, and also it comes up as sold out if you try adding it to your cart, I have no problem knowing an item is now sold out.

@depglass   I can't answer your question, but I do know that just because several companies are owned by the same holding company, each still has their own staffing and their own policies in many aspects.  QVC and HSN operate that way.

I've had this happen with QVC frequently.  I'm allowed to order an item which shows available, then during the order process, it'll say something like "sorry you just missed it",

HSN shows a "countdown"  when there are only a few left.  At least it did on the last few purchases I made there...    (I thought it was a "gimmick"....maybe NOT.)

🎄  What I can tell you, my fellow shopping mavens, it that, beginning today, HSN is celebrating Christmas in July on both Friday & Saturday.Great items, great prices!

The fact that Q and HSN are operated individually works for me !! I have not made a Q purchase in over 10 years, but I do buy often from HSN.

I too buy much more from HSN than QVC although not a lot from either.  I do hope they keep them separate and that HSN doesn't become an "entertainment/talk show" like QVC.
