I received an order from HSN that I want to return.  It did not come with the usual return label and if I log into my account and try to get one it's a generic address label and then I have to pay the return shipping.  I have never seen this before. Seems like they really don't want me to return it!  All my other HSN orders have the prepaid UPS label.  Very strange.  Have you ever seen this?  What does it mean?

That is routine when it is an item that is shipped directly from the vendor and not from HSN inventory.

I had to return a Garmin GPS that was defective and I had to pay $12.00 to send it to the HSN warehouse in Kansas. I guess then they do their paperwork for defects and then send it back to Garmin.

When there is no pre-paid shipping label it just means you have to pay return costs because HSN didn't ship it to you.

I do wish they would have some sort of notice to that on the webpage, or if calling in an order, have the order person tell you that return is on your dime. It is a big deal if you are ordering a big heavy item like an Oragami or a ladder!!

I kept an Oragami that wasn't what I thought it was because it was going to cost a fortune to ship it back! I hate when I get caught by surprise like that.

Thank you for this info.  Fortunately it's a small box but it will still cost me several dollars to return.  I always liked the free returns with HSN and had no idea there were exceptions.  My bad for making reckless purchases for things I don't really need!

I think you should call HSN customer service for their advise and directions.

QVC is now using a label which you must peel off the box.  Under it is a layer which contains an invoice and a return shipping label.  HSN may be using the same arrangement.  If in doubt call CS.

If you have used your HSN charge card they will give you a $5 spendable kash credit when you return something.  I think they allow you to do that 5 times a year.

This has happened to me three times this fall.

2 returns for items family just didn't want and a third that didn't work as advertised.

The first 2 (Garmin and Ring Doorbell) cost over $35 to return and the latest a Fire Tablet stand will cost 1/2 of what I paid for it.

I rarely return, this last 3 months has been an exception but the cost has almost made me want to stop ordering.

I wish I had known on all 3 that a return label and even a $8.95 cost wasn't included.

Guess I shall not order any more name brands. Smiley Sad

You only get the KASH if you use their label, if I am not mistaken.

@Boxerdoglover - I agree with you.  I just returned some booties and it cost me $21.
