....and Q said going nothing would change.

Glad the wealthy got the big tax break this year so it could help out the middle class.

You need to get your facts straight.  QVC is not laying off anyone.

I just saw on my local news (WFMZ ch.69) about 20 minutes ago that QVC is going to be moving a fulfullment center into Bethlehem, Pa. near a Zullily center that is already  operational. It said they would be closing 3 other fulfillment centers in other locations. This is to be finished sometime in 2019.

What does thid mean to us as customers?  At least another two years of shipping chaos.  Things are likely to get worse before they get better.

@Johnnyeager.  Your in-depth personal financial analysis would be wrong.

It takes almost 13 days on average to get a package to me in California. I shutter to think whats going to happen now. They need to fix the hold-up in Illonois.

Lucky for all of us that there are tons of other places to shop and get much better CS and much faster shipping times.

@Johnnyeager I stand corrected...it looks like both the Q and HSN are laying off...

The parent company of HSN and QVC, which acquired HSN in December 2017, is slashing hundreds of jobs — mostly in St. Petersburg, where HSN has a large corporate campus.

Qurate Retail Group (NASDAQ: QRTEA) said Wednesday that it is merging HSN and QVC (NYSE: QVCD) into one combined company, to be known as QXH, and eliminating a total of 350 jobs by the end of 2018. QXH will retain the brand identities of both HSN and QVC, the company said.

Those affected by the layoffs will receive "support to aid in their transition, including severance payments, continuation of some benefits and outplacement assistance," the company said.
