I don't shop HSN, but I'm noticing a lot of posts here about HSN and their products. I know that QVC and HSN are owned by the same company, but doesn't HSN have their own blogs and forums?

Yes.

@tl98466 Yes they do. Just click on the Connect tab at the top of the page. Forum is under Community.
It's not very active or like this one though.

HSN has it's own community forum, but it's great to discuss them here as well. I like the QVC forum over the HSN Community anyway. No need to go back & forth since TV shopping generates similar topics.
Sephora is a frequent discussion topic here in beauty. They have their own community forum as well.
As far as topics and brands, I feel Come one, Come all.

HSN does, but no posts are allowed on anything except HSN products. Their community has never had much participation and even less so in recent years. Because many QVC shoppers also watch and/or shop HSN, that's why people post here.

@Ainhisg, if I remember correctly there was a time when the HSN boards were quite active but became increasingly hostile.
Again, if I remember correctly they shut the boards down completely for a period of time. When they were reinstated discussion topics and acceptable posts were and are still tightly regulated.
Because of the changes the HSN boards never regained their momentum.

I dont go to HSN forums at all anymore. I did not find the posters there very friendly or responsive.

I've shopped both channels for many years and never even went on the forum's at HSN.
I've always just been on here. I find it fun and it's great we are able to share the finds we see on HSN and other retailers.

The HSN forums were extremely popular at one time. They were indeed shut down but it wasn't so much because of negativity as it was fraud. It was discovered that many of the most popular posters were being paid to say how much they loved a particular line and/or product. It became blatantly obvious after awhile that some of them were just a little too enthuisastic about certain lines. I only read the beauty forum but there were a few I picked up on and the one that really nailed the coffin was the woman who was super popular, even called in to talk when the products were on the air and then "someone" discovered she was the mother of one of the guys who owned and developed the line.
