HSN is also showing encore presentations until 7AM. There are other channels to watch/record, but my DVR picked all the shows up to record since the guide had them marked as "new".

@Shanus I believe HSN has been doing that for quite awhile now.  I'm not up during those hours, so I doesn't impact me, thankfully.

@Krimpette   I'm usually not awake until 5 or 5:30. I don't watch, record or keep up w/ HSN's schedule as much as QVC. I noticed it last night because interested in Vince Camuto. Wish I was sleeping later.

HSN has been doing that for quite some time. QVC is now doing it, also, though that is supposedly temporary. We'll see.

HSN having encore programming overnight is nothing new. They have been doing so for a long time.  What is better is that they mix it up. They have different hosts and items on during their encore presentations. QVC no.

That's not exactly correct.

HSN started encore shows in June 2019.  Before that there was 24/7 live programming with a variety of hosts including Deb Denmon, Tina Jennings, Tamara Hooks and Helen Keaney.

They have done it on and off over their existence, but for years have been 24/7 live until this recent change.

3 senior hosts were let go at the time and the overnight hosts moved into other timeslots.

We also get HSN2 on Comcast, and it is all reruns, some from several months ago. Products picked at random.

First, HSN started to encore the second hour (1-2 a.m.) of their Special value of the day.  Then is was changed to all night.

ShopHQ and JTV also show recorded programming throughout the night. I don't think ShopHQ starts live again until 8:00 a.m.
