I agree they don't need to go on and on for 30 minutes on one product. Problem is they usually leave something out even when they do that because they're chatting about personal stuff. Many of them don't say what size clothing the models are wearing. There are a few models that are my go to. I either wear the size they wear or I wear a size down from them. There needs to be some absolute bullet points for each product get those out and then do your chatting. Then I can can ff through it.

Showing some personality is fine.... I think Leah does it right!!! Yes, the length of the presentations are now wayyyy toooo long, but some hosts start the family or personal tales or fantasy stories even before the products are presented. They want to make the show all about THEM, because either they are self-focused, or they didnt do their homework on the products....Yes, personal stories have gotten out of hand......Personally, I can find better entertainment than hearing QVC hosts' talk about their personal lives or family....
I dont want the hosts to be robots but the trend has gone too far in making the shows all about the hosts and I end up turning the channel............
While its true you can go online to find out about the product, a lot of important info is missing ....and why should I have to use several devices to find out about the products....

I would like it if one just told the truth. One show you wear a size 6, next show a 4 and the next a 2. Come on Shawn tell the truth or don't mention it at all.
I love the professional hosts that tell the truth about the price, that means a lot to me. Give me the exact price, not 39 dollars when its 39.99 That bugs me to no end. The older hosts do it.

Oh here we are AGAIN ... the fan club has arrived !! As soon as a thread shows up with ANY negative comments on JT the family shows up in her defense. JT has tons of siblings which we have all been introduced to at the "Jane Christmas Show" with all her family sitting around the fire ... JT is all about HER ... bragging and taking the air out of the room. HER friend Dennis Basso (which she wants a wedding dress "for her daughter") or brown nosing her way around town ... maybe there should be a QVC 4 where all the hosts show up for a few hours and tell stories, model the clothing themselves, and interview family members. Jane wanted to be in show business but home shopping is as close as she'll ever get. Call the moderators fan club !!

@AuntG I wish I could heart this post 100 times!

To me, she sounds like a braggart. Not an enviable character trait. I don't watch her.

I think they schedule much (like often twice) too long for the majority of their products thus leaving hosts to fill a lot of air time. Boring and more often than not annoying.
Then there's the occasional Valarie or jewelry show where we get a glimpse of the product, barely enough time to jot down the item number, and are left to our own devices to look for details.

Last night David was presenting cookies; Jane T. popped in and said she was almost in tears when she saw a cookie was named Rudy because her father's name was Rudy and he loved Cheryls cookies. She manages to bring a family member into almost every presentation.

I have to agree; those made up scenarios with Isaac have to go. They add zero to the presentation; channel changer for me.
