As for QVC I think they are passed the spring mode and already into summer.....

Hi MJD.....OMG!!!!....what are we going to do....Stevie and I must think of a way to have you DE-PROGRAMMED at ONCE!!!!! I can't believe it....not the MORE THAN A BLENDER!!!!....And just think with QVC's new and "improved" shipping you just might get it in time for Christmas...... Shaking our heads and it's not from any hair cleansing products either...... Anyway....I hope you enjoy your purchase!!!

Think I'll stop with one Vitamix. Even though we have two kitchens in our house (second one in our guest quarters), guests can come upstairs if they REALLY need to blend something. LOL!

Now MJD I don't think you realize that you cannot just stop with ONE Vitamix, and by all means get one for the guest room......But that's still not good enough....you'll need to purchase one for EVERY room of the house.....get one for your bathroom (you might want to mix up a cucumber mask for that facial), one for the den or living room so you can conveniently whip up that snack while watching TV or relaxing why make those extra steps to the kitchen....if you are out working in your yard or garden you need one on your patio to mix up a refreshing treat.....why even if you are working in the garage....hmmmm....I wonder if you can mix different kinds of motor oil to create a Super motor oil, after all it's more than a blender...... So get to that ordering MJD!!!!!

Darn it Spurt. You missed the most important part. By ordering (at least) one for every room in the house, you can color coordinate! Now, let's go through those colors again... and again... and again... and again... One more time...

I caught the new jingle while watching AM Style this morning....and who happened to be the host.....none other than the chatterbox herself....our Fashion guru....AMY!!! Leah has never been more missed.... Oh My! It gave me an idea of what Monday's Fashion Night In must be like....... But I do think Amy's fashion choices were better than Courtney's......

And between The Queen Of Liquid Knit and Amy's speed talking I thought I was watching an episode of The Chipmunks.....

I was very hopeful because I thought they also made a change to the Vionic presentation....they showed a picture of the foot/leg alignment...oh good I thought---no magic marker....but I spoke to soon....because lo and behold....Liam did mark up the model's leg at the end....

But one moment was actually downright scary .... call it a coincidence....but there have been several threads in both the Suggestion Box and Fashion Forum asking them to do away with Beauty items in the Fashion Shows.....and they delivered....well almost, there was only a BRIEF, and I mean very very BRIEF appearance by Dr. Denese and Amy mentioned this was the only beauty presentation in the show (rather than their usual array of beauty and lengthy 20 minute presentations).......and after AM Style I was tidying up a bit, and forgot to turn the channel and IT Cosmetics was bumped to Saturday Morning Q....it will be interesting to see if this trend continues. (Now after seeing David bring out the Dyson I ran at Olympic times to grab the remote to turn the channel)....Anyway, I just wonder if sales are down, and if they are actually putting a few customer ideas into action....one can only hope!!!!

Yes, I think there has long been an outcry to have fewer non-fashion items in what are supposed to be fashion shows... fewer beauty items and especially beauty appliances... As I've said before, I almost don't care what the Q does anymore... Virtually any changes they make are more than likely going to be too little too late... My sum total of Q viewing this entire week was a little less than an hour of Antonella selling diamonds... The Q just doesn't interest me anymore, it seems, and with the programming as it is, I don't see that changing... And as for Amy, yes, I too have likened trying to watch her to trying to listen to those old chipmunk songs... I've actually given up on Monday nights... The one night I used to make Q viewing a priority...

Definitely spring here! In my yard I currently have Kwanzan cherry, white and yellow Lady Banksia rose, Easter rose, pink, red and white dogwoods, grape hyacinths, yellow, pink and orange native azaleas, regular azaleas, camellias, crabapple trees and daffodils blooming. The horses are shedding like crazy, too. So glad that it has finally warmed up and am enjoying riding my horse on the trail.

Hope you have a happy Easter! Mine will be uneventful, happily.

Yes Stevie....sadly I have been finding substitutes for most things that I used to buy at QVC....the latest was a makeup primer (you need a primer to help keep your makeup on in our hot summers)....but someone had said that there is one from Maybelline that works just as well as the high priced brands from QVC so I'm going to check that out....

The only Q Show I routinely watch is AM Style---mostly just so I can see what kind of better deal I can get locally or through other online retailers.....and sometimes it's quite amusing or downright irritating to see what QVC considers to be "fashion"...... And also there is not much on in that time slot on Saturday morning....

Now it might be interesting to see Lisa Mason again....when I caught a bit of a jewelry show with Mary Beth she mentioned that LM would be on with a diamond show....

But your right, a change in the music, hosts, sets, and website does not make QVC inviting----nope it's PRODUCT VARIETY !!---and that is the one thing that doesn't appear to be changing....

Re: the absence of Leah (and her replacement for the show) - ITA ! There were many OOOPs moments (including the white see-through-pants, that weren't supposed to be see-through - ). I guess The Host 'didn't get the memo' about "what to wear, under there...." Certainly, ANYONE who has any "fashion sense" and is thinking about/going to be wearing WHITE PANTS would pre-plan and wear a Nude color undies.... Yes? Well, as demonstrated, the Inspired Stylist missed the mark.

Ohhhh, and your CHIPMUNKS analogy is absolutely Priceless ! I will have "that image" of SG/AS compared to Alvin & Simon, forever -- burned in my brain, as long as I live & breathe. Which reminds me - WHO is the Host that uses that "saying" ?

One really funny Moment over the weekend was that I had recorded the Isaac Show (Saturday Morning @ 1 a.m.), and, I watched it yesterday -- The Vionic TSV show @ Midnight, apparently "ran overtime" so it recorded Jacque Gonzales the Host, who apparently had also been used as Liam's MODEL, with her leg 'marked up' with that Sharpie Permanent Marker !!!! I guess she 'took one for the team' AND she went on to the IM show, seamlessly doing that show with Jackie Stafford (Isaac's Right Hand, Late Night Fill-In for him), well, I guess HE needs his Beauty Rest !

I'll tell you that the philosophy shows on today, for umpteen hours - NO SELLOUT of the TSV + the ENDLESS CHATTER =UGGGHH! No big Bubbles in the bowls; it has been "Hard Sells" from the get-go, from this morning's Daytime shows (8 a.m.) until the end tonight. (I had the Q on in the background several times today - while doing laundry - and it was so boring).
