Re: Guess I'm not a "valued" customer

@qualityshopper, I agree.  It's embarrassing how much I've spent at the Q over the years.  Yet, I've never gotten any rewards or incentives.  Their "random" computer picker does not like me, I guess.  Why can't they offer incentives and rewards to ALL customers?  HSN does that all the time, at least for ppl who have/use their credit card.

I hope that the ppl who DO get the coupon codes make up for the lack of my purchases because, if I know that there is a code out there that I am NOT able to take advantage of, the LAST THING I'M GONNA DO IS PURCHASE SOMETHING without it!  Duh!

I guess after all these years I really am getting a clue!  I am NOT a valued QVC customer and am painfully aware of it!

@qualityshopper - Well, now you know how I feel about HSN.  No coupons, no promo codes, nada.  No matter how often I've talked with their CS to try to find out why - nothing.  So I am definitely not a "valued HSN customer".

Doesn't matter whether I buy from them or not.  Others on these boards are always saying that they get these benefits all the time.  Me?  Zip!

I get more offers from QVC, since I signed up for the Rewards program.  I've always been a QVC shopper, so there's usually something I want to use them on.

I'm not a Q-Card holder, so it's nothing to do with that (although, they do offer special discounts to them).  And I've never stopped shopping with them, so they're not trying to entice me back, as some have suggested.

I doubt any of us will ever figure out how they decide these things.  However, if I had already received things I'd ordered and was happy with, I wouldn't be spending the time and money for return shipping.  I'd just cut down on future orders.

Re: Guess I'm not a "valued" customer

I'm a regular shopper here too, but I signed up for the rewards program when it started.  I get the coupons and offers but I had to add the Q to my safe senders email as lot were caught up in junk filters (from my email provider) or going to junk.  Most coupons are a bit hidden.  The email subject doesn't typically say COUPON INSIDE instead you are looking at the TSV email and below it is a reference to a code.

i only received the brochure with Albert and Kirsten the other day and knew from these boards it had a code.  Took me 3 reads to find it.  My mail is slow maybe yours is too or someone in your house tossed it with junk mail.

There is so much whining and complaining on these Boards.  Maybe try these tips, reading all Q emails carefully, signing up for rewards, dealing with your email filters, etc.

I get discount offers occasionally.  I don't use the discount codes if I don't need anything.

I think QVC is trying to win me back to buy more.  Those who shop often don't need an incentive to buy, I suppose.

@Carmie.  I'll have to shoot holes in that theory.  I shop QVC a lot but I somehow became a "rewards member" and have gotten several coupons lately.  I don't remember signing up for anything.

Maybe they're rewarding frequent shoppers?

I received the $15.00 off $50.00,  the only item I want is $49.98.  So of course it won't work!

Re: Guess I'm not a "valued" customer

@Venezia.  I've shopped continuously at HSN since the 1980s and have never gotten a coupon code of any kind.  Nobody there seems to know how you get on "the list".  I've called and a CS rep felt sorry for me and gave me a $20 credit once.

Fortunately, there's very little sold there that I want to buy so I just stay away.  I have bought and like Marla Wynn jeans and BearPaws shoes.  That's it.

I have concluded that a valued customer is one they haven't nailed down yet.  Legacy shoppers like me (over 30 years) are taken for granted.

I noticed that when I took a six month break from shopping and then started buying again I received coupons.

To get discounts at QVC join their reward program. That simply consist of going to your account, check email settings, click the promotional box.

The past few free shipping windows were announced on the main page. Just like they do for free shipping days.

The majority of HSN discounts on posted on the top banner of the website for everyone to use. Occasionally they have an app only discount of 20% off that you see when you open the app.

I am a customer for 34 years, believe I got a Happy Birthday once or twice...no coupon...we are taken for granted. Know what, I am still here...my fault/choice.
