When my daughter was young and into those American Girl dolls, we spent a pretty penny.  Once we even had a personal shopper at the store, I guess because we spent so much.  Then, the same thing happened.  Heard about all these other people receiving discount codes, especially in the catalogs that came out.  My catalogs never had one in it.  I called AG and was told, " I was already a customer and those promotions are to attract new customers."  My reply, "I've been a loyal customer and throw me a bone once in a while for being one."  I've never received any type of discount from QVC in 20 plus years.  I don't expect one, especially now that my spending habits have changed.

I guess it may really be randomly selected, because I never get discount coupons either.

I have also considered seriously reducing my purchases here.  Maybe we buy too much and those who get coupons, etc. are rewarded because the Q wants to entice them to buy more?

I have gotten the mailers and codes but I shop here all the time and always have.  It only started after I joined the rewards program.  All I had to do was sign up for promotional communications and only saw that on here.   There is a possibility there were a limited time to enroll in the rewards program and they're using it as a test.

Agree!  I think those who buy a lot here, there's no incentive for QVC to give them any discounts.  I bought 8 items this year and have gotten 3 coupons I guess to get me to buy more--LOL!!  I have used 2 of the coupons.

It is a puzzle how and why Q operates as they do? I appreciate it when posters share coupons even if it is good one day often off of Social Media like Face Book which I rarely look at.  So many on line businesses offer free ship with a minimum purchase. We get a Free Ship day in a Blue Moon or four hours if one happens to catch the offer?

I recall the coffee cup issue a few years ago when some did not receive one and were frequent and long time shoppers. I received some David's Pecan Sandies cookies for the Holidays as a gift last year?  My first thought was  it was a mistake? I ended up giving them to a friend to take to work for her coffee room as they would go stale on me living alone and retired

I think alot is random selection for perks. At least that was determined  with the coffee cup mailing. Thankyou again to the posters for sharing coupon codes.

i opted out of receiving emails over a year ago.  Best thing I ever did.  I don't care if I ever receive a discount coupon(s). There is nothing I need that bad - not receibg  annoying emails is worth it

First off, I am sure every business, whether online or brick and mortar store, offer coupons to a select group of customers. Unfortunately, for QVC, we have this forum and can communicate to each other our discounts. Other sites do not have a forum so we are unaware what others get.

With that said, I shop quite a bit on QVC, and have for years, and I too get discounts. Not sure if I get them all but enough to satisfy me. I also have a Q card. Is it possible only Qcard holders can be rewards members? Not sure, maybe this is why some get them and some do not.
