Why does QVC think that Susan Graver's clothes are worth at least $50.00 each? Do they not understand that most Americans can't afford that or do they care? I watch QVC more than I should and have rarely seen a top and a bottom for less than $100. Also, can QVC ask her not to be so loud and ramble on so much....... It is very ANNOYING! I have never commented on here before but this is beginning to really bother me.

Thanks for listening........

When people stop viewing and buying Graver merchandise she will be dropped. QVC has a special arrrangement with Susan and make more money off her sales. That is why she is on so often and why they don't care how annoying she is.

Her prices have increased; the quality has decreased; the returns most likely have increased, and the positive reviews have decreased (rarely 5 stars). This is not a good pattern. There are several designers at the Q who offer excellent quality at better prices. I've moved on and unless something changes with her line, I would imagine others will move on too.

If you think the prices are too high and you don't care for presentations then it seems obvious what you need to do.

Prices of all things are rising.  There is a line of clothing sold in all the department stores that has been around for a long time.  Initials are AD.  It is no where near the quality of Susan Graver's line, but the tops are now priced at $64.  Pants in that line are $58 and the quality of their material is much lower lately.   Susan does use a much better quality of material than can be found in the B & M stores without going to very high end.  Susan also adds details that add to the look of her garments and that also has to be considered in the pricing.  Another deprtment store brand LA has also gone down in quality, but their tops are $68 and nothing special.  Susan's prices are definitely not out of line.  I receive many catalogs and their prices are all higher than Graver.  Yes, she does talk too much, but that is her personality she is a happy, energetic extrovert and she truly is trying to point out the details in the clothes.

Yes but these two dept store brands go on sale on a regular basis.  Get the clothing on sale, use a coupon on top of the sale price and you can get items at 40% off the sticker price.  Susan's clothes seldom are marked down and then there is that shipping cost.

Exactly, KathyPet.  ALL stores have sales and HSN has great clearance prices.  I sometimes wonder what the average discretionary income is of the people who post on this forum.  It seems most are not that concerned about how much something costs.

If there are other places to buy the same quality/look of clothing, people are welcome to shop those places. Why would you not?

If there are people that can not afford the prices of SG clothing, there are a couple of other choices of shopping available to them. From Nordstrom to Walmart to Goodwill.

If someone doesn't like the clothing or things that it is overpriced & they don't like Susan's style of selling her line of clothing, it would be easy to do something else for the hour that she is on & then come back to QVC when something is on that suits that person's taste.

I'm sorry that this is so hard on you. I hope you get through it & have a better day.

Don't put too much stock in those stars.......read the Reviews!  I notice the majority of the postings show 4 stars which is a puzzle when the typed text complains about sizing - cheap fabric - tight in arms or chest.  Seems they just throw 4 stars on to get your attention.
