I loved the two of them together.  I doubt Shawn had much say in doing the food show.  It would be hard for me to do since I don't like seafood and a few other things they have on.  Please don't turn this thread negative.  Shawn is Shawn.  Take her or leave her but don't be childish and start tearing her apart.  She doesn't cook so I'm sure she felt a little out of place but made the best of it!

I thought it was a great show!!

One of the best food shows in a very long time.   It was pleasant to watch and listen to.  The vendors were allowed to speak and the hosts deferred to each other.

No yelling. looking for close ups of your eating, pointing at food that the camera is already panning to, tearing apart food, no endless diatribes on how the food could be served when examples are already visible, no clowning around, etc.

@NYwoman   that is the one thing that drives me crazy about the other usual Gourmet Holiday host of which you're referring.  Why in heaven's name does she always point so close as to nearly touch the food when the camera is already clearly pointing it out to the viewer.  We get a close up of the food and her finger.  Nothing else bothers me about those food shows, except that.

Today's show was very good.  But I like all of the Gourmet Holiday shows [aforementioned tick aside].
