Their job is to sell products . If they can't or won't educated themselves on the products they are selling, for whatever reason, they should leave.  I'm assuming they don't have much of a say in the type of products they present.  Shawn was totally unprepared for a DynaTrap presentation once, and the vendor had to correct her several times.  She would say something about putting it on the table near you or inside the house, maybe a screened in porch.  She really didn't get that you're supposed to set those up away from where people will regularly gather.

@sann I love Guy including his being rough around the edges which most salemen are not.

@FishandSnail  I know what you mean, but I go back to when Sandra B. started doing gardening shows. She couldn't have been more wet behind the ears, and she was painful to watch. But she threw herself into it, and now she has begun gardening on her own and is much better at hosting the gardening shows. I have to admit that I was pretty hard on her at the beginning. Carolyn is a seasoned and rare breed who can host pretty much any show. It's going to take a quite while for the new hosts to get even close.

Sandra Bennett is VERY knowledgeable about gardening. She is an avid gardener and said her mother was too.
