Hello Folks well this weekend is Super
.....unfortunately I am definitely NOT referring to QVC's weekend lineup....instead I'm referring to the NFL game on Fox at 6:35 PM ET.
And so appropriate .....you couldnt have asked for a more perfect fit.....in addition to the Super Bowl....Feb 2 is GROUND HOG DAY...and boy does QVC's programming fit the bill for GROUND HOG DAY THE MOVIE.....if you like repetitious stuff you'll like this weekend's lineup!!!! .
BTW did you know that GROUND HOGS when they sleep, they really sleep------
Groundhogs are known as “true hibernators,” going into a dormant state—in which their body temperature and heart rate fall dramatically—from late fall until late winter or early spring. Which is a PERFECT segway to QVC's Saturday lineup of Serta....yes folks THE SHEEP ARE BACK!!! Serta is proud to be the manufacturer of one of the world's best mattresses
Just what groundhogs need for their periods of long hibernation. Maybe QVC should gear their sales pitch to the GROUND HOGS and give the QVC audience a break.....And the official ground hog, Punxsutawney Phil resides right in Pennsylvania just like QVC....
The last time she was wrong was in 2010,” Grant said.
That was also the last time superstar quarterback Peyton Manning played in the big game. So, Broncos fans might want to pay extra attention to Woody’s prediction.
“Phil’s the oldest, he’s the original, and he’s the wisest,” said Michele Neal, executive director of the Punxsutawney Chamber of Commerce.
As a tie in to our favorite weather predictors..........we have a show that really infuriates and gets customers dander up (thats why they offer WEN
)....while the snowflakes are falling QVC torments folks with a taste of spring as QVC brings Cottage Farms for your viewing pleasure....LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW....
Well enough about furry royalty....let's talk REAL ROYALTY.....get ready to curtsy and bow....the crown prince of hail cleansing makes an appearance.....scrub a dub dub....
Then of course it wouldnt be a weekend without some sort of computer device.....it's DELL !
.....Buy a computer for your bus driver, hair stylist, the person that walks your dog,, your child's teacher .....in other words buy, buy, buy....so we can say
Good BYE!.....ENOUGH is ENOUGH!!!!!
And throw in a silicone lid as a bonus!
To wrap up the day.....the sheep make an appearance once again....ZZZZZZZZZZZ
Then tune in at 10PM Eastern....because its more royalty......as QVC kicks off STERLING DESIGNER GALLERY---
Yes folks the Queen of Hearts makes her royal appearance.....
Then its the queen of tattoos, jewelry with skulls and insects....sounds like a Shakespeare play..........double double toil .........oh a bit of culture from the Q
.
Other designers make an appearance too....Now ladies, this is better than Dyson, Keurig, Vitamix or more beds and mattresses....
But then to close the day....something very curious ........well the Q has a unique spin....
The promo reads.....
"Whether you're cheering from the stands or from your sofa, we've got what you need to show your spirit throughout the football season and beyond during our Football Team Shop"
That's right folks, AFTER the Super Bowl and the NFL season has officially ended, which means YOU WILL NOT BE CHEERING FROM THE STANDS OR YOUR SOFA. .....QVC brings out the "Football Team Shop"....go figure..
...And it wouldnt be a Sunday without our Lady Of Liquid Knit bringing up the rear.(no pun intended)
....
Enjoy your weekend!

Yes, we are all the Bill Murrays in Q's Groundhog Day movie.... Q repeats the same few products over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over. I'm out of that cycle. I watched more on the gold rush day last week than I've watched in 6 months. I'll be watching the game. Go Broncos!

Oh Q, really... and like the groundhog, the programming almost always makes me want to go and burrow back in for a longer winter's nap, and not necessarily on a Serta (yawn...). And though I know some of TPTB clearly need to go soak their heads (big time-big time), it isn't necessarily with the crown prince's seasonal goops... Yes, the pricey sterling designer stuff is a welcome change from the typical Sunday fare, but still, as the prices go up-up-up and the materials used get more and more costume in nature, well..., all I can say is at least it isn't Bacon Boy whipping something up in that kitchen (or a vacuum... or a blender... or a computer...), so I might watch a little of it... Like so much on Q these days though, it's hardly fresh programming. As they continue to repeat the same brands so often, well, even Her Majesty has grown somewhat stale... And when I noted that programming blunder a few weeks ago, I too shook my head in wonderment at the Q's timing to be (finally) selling NFL gear as the season (blessedly) endeth... Regardless, I will SO NOT be watching that game. First, a football game and the accompanying hoopla should not last for an entire day and in addition to that I don't care for either team. That being said, I hope Seattle tears Peyton Manning a new one... He's right up there with that man of mine on my own personal 'do not call' list... But, at the end of the day, I honestly don't give a rat's hiney about the game or who wins it... I don't view programming for the 'neat' commercials, and I don't tune in to sporting events for the halftime show... All things considered, maybe I'll run errands on Sunday when everyone else is off the streets and out of the stores stuffing their face, watching commercials and awaiting a wardrobe malfunction...

If Bruno Mars has a *wardrobe malfunction* (at halftime) THAT would be hilarious!

That possibility gives me even more incentive not to watch!

Well, you could have a drinking game and play along each time they say " the BIG GAME."
