I thought this was kind of funny.  This morning on Carolyn Gracie's VPH show, she said that Fall is the longest decorating season.  Later, on a different show, Sharon Faetsch said it's the shortest one.  LOL.  Who to believe?

Don't believe the hosts they all tell  shall we say , "half truths" to sell everything. I have started taking everything on these shopping channels with a grain of salt. After 30 years how much can we believe?

Statements like that go in one ear, out the other.  I don't pay attention to comments like that.  I know what I know and I don't have to believe what one host says as opposed to another.  It's basically nonsense.

IMO its the longest since the fall decor can be left up until the Christmas stuff is put up, basically Sept thru Nov.

I had to laugh, or should I say roll my eyes, when during the presentation of Laurie Felts TSV jeans, Sharon said , "you don't have to pay over $100 dollars for a denim piece of clothing."  The item before that was the denim shirt that was $129 and supposedly that was a deal.

In my opinion there is no right or wrong answer....................each of us should begin decorating for fall when we feel the urge.

Carolyn's case ~ possibly she starts early and leaves her items out until as close to winter and she can.

Sharon's case ~ holding on to summer may be her gaol, therefore, allowing only a small window of time for fall decor, before the snowmen come out.

No big deal.  Just a matter of interpretation.  Hardly a lie or 'half-truth'.

If you think 'Fall' includes Halloween and Thanksgiving, then it could be the longest like Carolyn said.

If you think 'Fall' does NOT including ghosts and goblins or turkeys and cornacopias, and is its own separate 'season', then I agree with Sharon.

I don't view either host as spewing out babble just for a sales pitch.  I think that is probably exactly what each one really believes!
