I haven't ordered this year from QVC, busy with DH and his medical issues.

I received a 'Free Shipping' offer from QVC in the mail, which expired March 31, so I took a quick look last week and found something on sale and ordered it online.

Only problem was, the coupon code did not work.

This is nothing new to me, it's happened a few times before. Not sure if it's something I'm doing, but coupons for other outlets work when I use them.

I called QVC and got the free shipping anyway, so it worked out. 

Anyone else having the same problem?

Yes.  I had a coupon for free shipping for up to 4 fashion items. No mention that it was not valid on sale, clearance, as is, etc. etc.  When I finally went to order an item, got the red flag saying it wasn't valid on those items.

Sorry I missed the discussion, I haven't been here for some time. 

This seems to happen each time I receive a coupon from QVC, I'll look up the old discussion.

I don't receive coupons because I opted out of emails abd texts from the Q way over a year ago because I am not a fan of getting bombarded with promotions and because the Q sells your information, next thing you know, you are getting emails from everyone and their brother.

i recently received a postcard in the mail fro, the Q offering me $20 off $40 if  sign up for mail and texts but I'm not taking the bait.

This was in the US mail, a flyer with a code.

I too never sign up for texts from any of these outlets, they will keep you busy all day long! Lol

i sign up for texts all the time, get the coupon/discount, and then unsubscribe. it is pretty easy to do.

when this free shipping coupon first came out it worked on all fashion items. i purchased a few that were on sale and even on lunchtime specials. about mid-way through the month they then added "restrictions" and i had to use my last one on regular items.

@Teddixat.  I've never seen any indication QVC sells your information.  I get bombarded with spam but it's all from contacts I initiated.   I think you're mistaken.

The free shipping offer was sent in the US mail,  not email.  It seems in midstream they changed the rules and excluded a lot of merchandise.  I have found that other retailers have the same policies.  I've never been able to use a coupon at Macy's,  for instance.

I LOVE Macy's merchandise and prices, but forget about using their coupons - there are so many exclusions it's hardly worth bothering.

So I wait for their sales which are great, and if I have to make a return I just run to their store, they have an easy return policy.
