Can anyone give me their opinion regardubg the fitnation recubent bike ? I'm 70 yrs old and an avid walker but when winter comes it's hard to get outside so I'm searching for something to do at home. I don't like tredmills and I hate going to the gym. Saw the recumbent bike but there's alot of mixed reviews. Also any info on how to return it would be helpful.

I use my Cubii in the winter.  Its easy and it has different levels. I enjoy it when I can't get out and walk.

We have the opposite problem where I live. Can't go out in the summer. Winter is our time to enjoy the outdoors. I have a rowing machine that I'll use in summer and I go to water aerobics 3 times a week.

@Grnthumb

I have it and use it 5x a week.  I really like it.

Mine is about 4-5 yrs old I think.  Bought it when it first came to QVC and have had NO issues.

I have it in the Sun Room, clear view to the TV....so I have no excuses about going into the basement, other rooms etc.

It folds easy enough so I can move it when a large gathering is coming.

It did NOT take long to assemble so ignore those silly reviews.  I had no problems.

Very comfortable, but I use it mostly in the upright position.

Mine is an older design so my arm resistance bands are on the front.  I love this feature and use the arm bands a lot!!  After about 3 years, they were starting to wear through I used them so much.  Called them and ordered a set super easy...so I'd say A+ for their customer service.

Lots of adjustability on this machine for OODLES less than a Peleton!!!

I don't know about returning it since I didn't, but I imagine, that would be on you to box up and return.....

I like Pro Form. Last forever. Bought it 10 yrs or so ago still going strong. took out the warranty on it and the man came and replaced something for free about 8 yrs into it.

I'm a old dog, but, my legs are a lot better then a lot of out of shape young women I see at walmart.

Thought about ordering that the price was great, but, only weighing 40 lbs I was afraid it wouldn't be heavy

enough. Seat was good too, back support was little on the skimpy side.

I was watching the presentation last night and was thinking about it. I don't want to have to spend $$$ for a Peleton. But some of the reviews were not great.

Those Peleton's are for the sports and gymnastic young people. Not for the average person.  I'm not getting paid to compete, etc. Just doing it for the health benefits.

I agree.  My Pro form I use everyday was bought in 2000.  I have had to replace the pedals a couple of times and the seat once but it is amazing how well it as held up.  Sears back in the day.  Wish I had bought the warranty but 23 years of the same bike is pretty good. Not the same body though.

Re: Fitnation Recumbent Bike

Purchased it last winter and just donated it. I went back to walking outside even when its cold and yoga. I found it uncomfortable and seemed to bother my hip. When I stopped using it and started walking outside again the pain in my hip went away. I’m in good shape and was surprised by this.. I have a friend who is really into fitness and she said the seat height was right for me and it couldn’t be adjusted any higher. It turned out to be a waste of money for me since I missed the 30 day return date. This was my experience yours may be different but I can’t recommend it.

Re: Fitnation Recumbent Bike

That should have read the seat height wasn’t right for me.
