Kim Gravel showed a plaid throw blanket last night; it was half Sherpa and half "featherweight" (whatever that is). Do homegoods count?

Oh this is not the first.
I recall Shawn had the Berkshire lady on her first CIJ broadcast with these sherpa ponchos about 2 weeks ago, it seems. When the heat index in PA was about 105

I bet it was featherweight. On another post I asked if Berkshire throws are normally thin like the one I just received,
At least now I know Berkshire isn't the company for me for future purchases.
Saw that poncho while enjoying Steve Doss program taped from last night. Agree 100% ewwww not a good lock and quality seems to be lacking.

Think how attractive this rag will be after you wash it once....knotted clumpy Sherpa stuff, hairs stuck on and in the material ( from your dog or cat or YOU!!!) ..
This stuff is the gift to retailers....made out of waste material swept up off the floor of the mill, printed patterns with cheap dye, and sold as some kind of magical wearable blankie to the childlike masses.
Serious. I saw this SAME JUNK in Walmart last year...BINS of it...for 5 bucks or less.
Save your money.
Anyway...that woman who pushes the endless Sherpa stuff will probably have five TSV's between now and Christmas....so save your money...!!!
Purses, raglike wearable blankies, throws, the cheapest material to wring out the highest profit.
Junk.

FWIW, my mother, sisters, and a couple of friends and I all bought a version of that Berkshire wrap last year and we all love it. It was the "Double-Sided Plaid Spa Loft Cape Wrap," so I'm not sure if it's exactly the same as the "Wearable Throw" that was recently presented, but we also paid just $24.98 and it was worth every penny. The material is a great mid-weight—definitely much nicer than the $3 fleece throws at Walmart—the pockets are nice, and it works well as a wrap, lap blanket, or throw (though it's obviously not as large as an actual blanket).

@loriqvc, I'm sure the majority of the buyers of the many thousands already purchased agree with you.
Although some that read this thread and takes it to heart may now be too embarrassed to use them since they may be judged for wearing rags.
My only complaint about them is the endless cat snuggles when wearing one. I become incapacitated so I don't disturb her.

@Othereeeen. They seem to be be extremely dense about interpreting our messages from previous years to the effect that we hate sherpa, at least I do.

I had one of these from a few years ago. I will say...it is not comfortable at all. You can't maneuver very well (say cooking, cleaning, driving, etc.) in it. It's bulky as all get out. I didn't love it. For me, it's too soon to start holiday shopping.
