Re: First Sherpa Stuff Spotted!!! 7-14-24

@Qvcmeow,  I am all too familiar with use it or lose it when it comes to seating and my cat.  Doesn't matter if it a comfy seat in the living room or my office chair.  When I get up Tea takes over.

I have 2 sherpa lined full zip sweatshirts from LL Bean that I wear around the house in the winter. They are robe, sweatshirt, or additional layer. I got them on sale 3-4 years ago and they look like new. I love them. I don't care if others don't like them.

Think how attractive this rag will be after you wash it once....knotted  clumpy Sherpa stuff, hairs stuck on and in the material ( from your dog or cat or YOU!!!) ..

This stuff is the gift to retailers....made out of waste material swept up off the floor of the mill, printed patterns with cheap dye, and sold as some kind of magical wearable blankie to the childlike masses.

Serious. I saw this SAME JUNK in Walmart last year...BINS of it...for 5 bucks or less.

Save your money.

Anyway...that woman who pushes the  endless Sherpa stuff will probably have five TSV's between now and Christmas....so save your money...!!!

Purses, raglike wearable blankies, throws, the cheapest material to wring out the highest profit.

Junk.

Sometimes you really get what you pay for.

I'd never buy a Berkshire or any cheap brand's blanket, shawl, top, etc in sherpa. The brand is cheap, poorly made, and won't last.

I mentioned in another post, that I have 2 LL Bean sweatshirts that are sherpa lined. They're going on 4 years old and you'd never know it by touching or looking at them. I wear them all the time in the house and yard in the winter. They look like new even after many dozens of washings! And I have a dog!

Happy for those who love them!

I am no longer purchasing bulky clothing items that take up so much "real estate" in my closet.

Layering works well for me.
