@Caaareful Shopper

BINGO!! Very well said on Shawn and her disrespect to Renee there. I couldn't believe when she did that. Shawn is like "The Don" love em or hate them, its like they literally can get away with anything. Btw, I am independent, so not knocking "The Don". Shawn has literally had over 10,000 complaints about her on a forum and I know of some friends who had personally emailed the link to QVC corporate yrs ago, cuz none of them can stand Shawn.

Shawn can't be touched, period! She is the Marlon Brando of QVC. She will be there til she wants to retire like M.B.R., whether you or I  like her or not. I can't stand her, but I do love her in Shawn Saves Christmas series, as wacky as that sounds, LOL!. She gets away with everything. so at this point it would be exhausting to still complain about it, so I have accepted it..It was very disrespectful to Renee, tho. Oh well, OK now when is Shawn Saves Christmas, I can't wait!! LOL

Where has Shawn been? She and Mally are the only reason I watch. I'm quite upset with QVC allowing Jane Tracy to make a political statement about an item looking like it would be great for our next First Lady, implying Melania wiould be back in the White House. I don't want to see ANY political views in my shopping shows, either direction. I am so fed up with QVC that I'm about done buying from them. Products are shabby, packing is terrible, and shipping and return costs are too high. Local stores don't charge I know Shawn is an acquired taste but so are many of the new hosts. I'm just so disappointed with Q and I've been a customer since the very beginning!

I love 50 and Fab when Shawn is on with Mally. Other than that, I'm  not watching. If Shawn is gone, so am I and my account WILL be missed! My husband will be happy, though!

Where did you come up with that? I don't believe it for one minute. I guess you don't know Jane very well.

I would be surprised about Jane too. I also want to point out that political contributions are a matter of public record and you can look them up. The government makes it very easy to do so.

Melania actually was a vendor on QVC many years ago selling some ridiculously overpriced unattractive watches. I only saw her once so I guess they didn't sell very well.

And, Melania's husband was a QVC vendor selling expensive steaks.

Fifty is the new F word.

And now sweet Gary Goban is referring to the F word too....only he follows it with "Fall".

OMG... I simply can't keep up with all the craziness.

Re: Fifty And Fabulous???

[ Edited ]

Jane T talks far too much, even for someone who talks for a living.  Supposedly, these selling tactics are to be thought of as conversations with friend(s) (which traditionally are 2 people or more participating, and yet she goes on and on about "her".) Same with Shawn just not focused in on Disney, but everyhting else in her life. JT and SK are really rude and steamroll over vendors.

Exhibit A: see Laura Geller with JT again this week, where just like all other times Jane talked and talked as though she is the expert. Exhibit B, C, D, etc: SK insults co-hosts, very passive aggressive with production and sometimes others behind the scenes, and steps into all of Rick's presentations on their summer series.  Sandra and Rosina did not insert themselves into every one of his presentations when they filled in for her during her much self promoted London vacation.  (Which begs the question, why is Shawn on the summer series that is only 5 or 6 weeks long and she was on vacation for a third of it? No one else could  hold down Friday night with Rick?)

I will say about Mally, generally speaking, she does not talk about herself (in a personal way very often on air during her makeup shows). Yes, she said she broke her finger so spoke to it, or she might speak of her beloved deceased mother, but not ad nauseum.  She is focused on her products. Yes, she is hyper but she is not "look at me, me, me". She is all about her brand and that makes sense, as she is a business woman. Evidently S and J are trying to create their brands too, which at least to the general viewing audience appears to be showing how everyone over 50 is loud, disrespectful, selfish, and self absorbed.  And to that end they are truly successful, I will give them that.

I for one do not like the show. I am 68 and feel like 50. This show is excluding us older ones. Also, why do they talk over each other? Very hard for me to follow or even hear.

@Stray   I agree that QVC has never been political and the mods do their best to keep politics out of the forums. But if Jane said the "next first lady" and did not correct herself this was no slip of the tongue. She knew what she was saying. But then I didn't hear this and I am only going by what was said here.

Years ago Mary Beth had a post on her QVC Facebook page. She said some thinly disguised political remarks, nothing major and poof it was gone very soon.

@50Mickey - As said, I didn't hear the comment but if she said the "next First Lady" that's innocuous as it could be anybody & a generic term.  It could be J or M or someone completely different.  I don't consider the remark if quoted correctly, political or offensive
