My QVC viewing comes and goes in spurts. I can go for a year without watching, then I'll watch a lot for a few months. As a result, I don't even know the names of some of the newer-ish hosts that I might like. I won't say who I like the least because that just wouldn't be nice but there are a few I could do without. And I'd have to agree with David Venable possibly being the most successful.

Several years ago, The New York Times did an article on David and QVC.
As I recall, it stated that David was by far the most successful seller at
the Q, and was paid the highest salary. Also remember the article
saying that cookbook authors loved coming on his show, as any book he
presented would automatically be a sellout (and continue to sell later)!
I like to watch Carolyn, Jayne B., Leah, Rachel, Sandra and new
hosts Mary Nelson and Katie (can't remember her last name).
Have enjoyed watching Monday night's PM Style with a variety
of hosts - changes things up a little. Same goes for IM shows -
watching him interact with different hosts has added an interesting
element to his shows this summer. Antonella has recently done
an excellent job with Louis & Linea and Bob Mackie shows. Last
night, discovered Alberti doing a Home Decor show on Q2 - he's
a rising star...

Of the new hosts, I like Mary Nelson and Courtney K.(I think it's K).
I'm surprised how well they do in such a short time.
Mary Nelson and Katie McGee look a lot alike. And both good hosts.
I'm happy they're calm with intelligent presentations. Also, no crazy, hysterical laughing. Am grateful, none do baby-talk.

I think the most successful hosts are David V. , Mary Beth and Carolyn G. David is so smooth and calm. MB and Carolyn are self confident and professional. None of those three try to be the center of attention, they just naturally are. Seems the more you try to be the center of attention the sillier you seem.
